After winning the pitch, Formula E asked us to create a campaign for their second season.
We recognised their fans were excited by the motorsport's gaming influenced features - tight inner city circuits, 360 degree viewing experiences and fan boost. So we created a gaming influenced campaign.
Every execution was born out of an epic highlight from season one. And with the help of WeAreUna and local teams, we used national iconography to create artwork that resonated with the local culture of each location.
Our artwork was used across a huge variety of places; outdoor sites, official race programme covers, Youtube skins, Facebook covers, Twitter profiles, driver autograph postcards, race highlights, snapchat filters, Instagram takeovers, raceday merchandise like t-shirts and posters... the list goes on.
To celebrate the end of the 2015/16 Formula E world tour we also created these Virtual Racers
